Requirements to backup to iCloud
Backup to iCloud requires iOS 10 or the latest version.
Sign in with your Apple ID to access it and set the iCloud enabled.
Note: You should have enough space depending on your backup size.
Back up to iCloud can be done manually or automatically. Each works depending on your settings and urgency. The backup feature allows you to choose whether to include or exclude videos from the backup.

Automatic backup
The automatic backup gives you the option to choose how often ( daily, weekly, monthly) interval backup you want, but this won’t be the best option when needed urgently as compared to the manual backup.

2. Verify the existence of an iCloud
3. Navigate to WhatsApp
4. Tap Settings
5. Move to Chats

What if my iCloud is out of space and I need to backup urgently?
This is what to do:
- The Export chat history
Export chat history does not work like the Backup. This allows you to email yourself individual or group chats.
1. Navigate to a chat or group chat you want to email.
2. Select Export chat
3. Choose to send with or without Media
4. Your default Mail app will open, enter your email address, and tap send.
