The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computerized adaptative test which is intended to assess students who are interested in pursuing a post-graduate course in a management-related field abroad.

The examination is important because it tests the analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills of students in written English for use in their graduate management program applications such as an MBA program.

GMAT registration in Ghana is $250 which is approximated to being (GH₵2,300) in Ghanaian cedis. You can therefore make your payment in Ghana Cedis,however it must be done at the exchange rate at the time of your registration.

Your GMAT registration in Ghana can be done through a service provider. These agencies provide GMAT services all year round to applicant of GMAT. They provide GMAT Tuition too prepare candidates, but it is however at a cost.

What do you need for your GMAT registration in Ghana?

You must know that to register GMAT in Ghana, you must have the following

  1. Full name as mentioned in your passport
  2. Your E-mail address
  3. The address for correspondence
  4. Your phone number
  5. Gender
  6. Date of birth
  7. Nationality
  8. Payment information (Debit/ Credit card)
  9. Educational history which is optional
  10. Work history which is optional

How is GMAT registration in Ghana done?

If you wish to take the GMAT test, then your GMAT registration can be done this way

  1. Visit the GMAT website to start your registration.
  2. Navigate and click on Create Account on the many options provided
  3. Start to input your details in the columns provided.
  4. After that enter your personal details
  5. Select the examination date and time that you are comfortable with.
  6. Select the nearest testing centre to you (Accra).

It is also advised that your take your test early enough to ensure that your test scores are available and intact before your preferred school closes their application deadlines. You can register for the GMAT anytime between 6 months and 24 hours before your planned date and you must also take note that you won’t be able to find a slot at the last moment.

Unfortunately, there is only one GMAT test registration centre in Ghana and it is located at Accra in the Greater Accra Region.

How long does it take to study for GMAT?

An applicant must note that preparing for the GMAT in Ghana takes time. You must hence plan to spend about two to three months which gives an approximate of 100–120 hours to reviewing material and practicing regularly.

In Ghana, the GMAT test is usually written on Thursdays and Fridays. Applicants can therefore select a specific test date available during the registration process so they can conveniently write their test and pass.

The GMAT test covers four major sections although all the sections involve the same critical thinking and analytical skills, they are distinct of each other

GMAT is broken down categorically into four scored test sections with two of the sections scored separately and the other two also scored separately but combined to generate a composite score. The sections for the tests are
