ECOBANK GHANA is a part of the Pan-African Ecobank network. The bank has operations in 32 nations. Ecobank Ghana’s stock is traded under the ticker EGH on the Ghana Stock Exchange. With branches (a total of 77 as of December 2016) in almost all of the country.
The bank is a fully networked commercial bank in Ghana. In 1990, the bank was established. The Trust Bank (TTB) was approved for 100% ownership by Ecobank Transnational in December 2011 by the Bank of Ghana.
BoG is the nation’s central bank and national banking regulator. TTB’s entire asset base was valued at around US$119 million (GH 220 million) at the time. TTB and EBG were successfully combined by Ecobank. The name of the new institution is Ecobank Ghana Limited.
